NEC launches the Versa LitePad

NEC announced today it's first entry in the Tablet PC marketplace. Not only is it the lightest Tablet PC (weighing in at 2.2 lbs), it is also the thinnest (0.6 inches).

It has dual 802.11a and 802.11b. This is another first for a Tablet PC.

Where can you get one? NEC resellers as well as CDW, PC Connection and Amazon are authorized to sell the NEC Versa LitePad.

How much does it cost? $2,399.00 in it's standard configuration.

When can you get one? NEC will begin shipments in early March. Availability will be limited as they ramp up production.
