Cheryl's Tablet PC Diary - Day 8

About Cheryl Wester

Cheryl is a high school teacher that recently won a Tablet PC.  This is the beginning of her diary based on using the Acer Tablet PC she won.

Day Eight with my Tablet PC...  This is o Sooo Cool!!

Im finally getting the hang of it.  The Tablet PC is so cool!!  I have used it with Outlook and have even personalized my signature so every time I do an email people now have my real signature.  I can really see the benefit of this.  Just think that someone can sign a legal document and email it off.  I wonder if a Notary could in some way verify legal documents that are sent through email.  Imagine the time this would save and the money it would help make.  If people use there imagination they wont be able to do without a Tablet PC.

I have found one other problem, though.  It is difficult to use in public.  Everyone wants to see what you are doing.  I spend so much time showing off the features that I dont get any work done. I had it on an airplane and the flight attendants all wanted one as they pack so much in a small space that every space saver helps. I have Jury Duty next weekI wonder what the reaction will be there.  When I took my Pocket PC to the jury room even the Judge wanted to see how it worked.  I wonderwill it get me on a trial or keep me off?

I cant thank the people from Microsoft and the Tablet PC team enough.  Apparently some of them have been reading my blurbs and responded with help and suggestions. The generosity of these people is overwhelming.  Way to go Microsoft!  A big thank you to Sears Young, Chris Barry, Dustin Hubbard, and Julius Sinkevicius.  Without there help, I would be one frustrated female.

I did discover that I needed to trim my fingernails to key on the keyboard. Oh, the price of technology!  Shorter nails have definitely eliminated some of my errors.  I still need to work on it though.  When you have typed as long as I have on a regular size keyboard there is definitely going to be a learning curve.  Until next time.
